A modular CIP system was designed and fabricated. This unit included two vessels, a supply pump, a heat exchanger with a steam train, routing valves and instrumentation. The vessels were vertical, single sheet, 316L stainless steel vessels, each certified to meet the 3-A sanitary standards and designed for internal pressures of 14 psig @ -20° to +250°F. Two single spray devices were installed in each vessel.
