"Eleven (11) portable, stainless steel vessels, intended for various applications, were fabricated. The capacities of the vessels ranged from 4 to 70 gallons and were designed to meet internal pressures of 45 psi/fv over temperature ranges of either -40° to +177°C or - 20° to +177°C. One vessel was to be used at 100°C under atmospheric pressure. The location of the dimpled, heat transfer surfaces varied from vessel to vessel, but all of the surfaces were fabricated from 316L stainless steel. Single spray devices for CIP cleaning were connected to a 3-inch sanitary clamp ferrule in the top of the vessel. Automation packages were designed and installed for several of the vessels.
