Approximately 1400 linear feet of “high purity,” USP, AUSP and EDI piping, requiring over 470 orbital welds, was installed. The high purity piping was fabricated from 316L stainless steel, with the interior surfaces being electropolished. Drain piping was also installed, again using orbital welds, but high purity piping was not required for this network. A&B Process Systems provided boroscope videotape of each orbital weld, as well as all the necessary documentation.
